Why we don't pitch.
Pitching teaches taste to chase. The studios we admire don't pitch — they choose. A note on how we pick clients and why.
Pitching teaches taste to chase. It rewards speed over consideration and confidence over conviction. Over time, it bends the studio's instincts toward what wins, not what's right.
We choose instead. We read the brief, take a call, and decide whether the project is a fit on both sides. If it is, we move. If it isn't, we say so plainly.
The studios we admire — the ones whose work still feels two years ahead — work this way. It's not a marketing position. It's an operating one.
